Overview of MEC

                The titanic intercourse between science and technology has flourished this planet named earth with a gigantic expansion of development.     The developed countries of this planet are now being governed with the power of science. With the advancement of science and technology, our developing country is also marching towards a new horizon of achievement in this field. Existing four major universities of engineering and technology is an important sign of this. Along with this our country is progressing towards the project of 21st digital Bangladesh. And our ongoing Mymensingh Engineering College under a project of Directorate of Technical Education which started on the year of 2005 is a mentionable initiative for promoting engineering education further. Now this institution has become a local server to the access of three major engineering fields- Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering and Civil Engineering under the affiliation of Faculty of Engineering and Technology, University of Dhaka.

        This engineering college is situated about 7 kilometers west from the main town of Mymensingh in an enchanting view of Rahmatpur, Khagdahar  having 6.2 acres land. There are thirteen buildings having all modern accessories and latest engineering facilities. The classes of EEE department was started from 6th July,2009.
